Douglasville Police & Municipal Court Building
Douglasville, GA
The City of Douglasville built a new 87,000+ sf police and municipal court building. In addition to executive office space, the building includes work areas for police detectives, interview rooms, booking area, weapons storage, evidence room, fitness room, screening lobby, 200-seat municipal courtroom, judge’s chambers, probation interview room, and all associated courtroom support areas. EDI provided design services for the following systems:
- Audio-visual/courtroom technology
- Security system, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and personnel alarm monitoring system
- Data/telephone/CATV cabling system
- Intercom and public address system
- Equipment specification
- Network bidding process
