Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta expanded their facilities in order to meet the increased need and to create more convenient, state-of-the-art facilities that will enhance the hospital experience for children and families. This simultaneous expansion and renovation project of both Scottish Rite Hospital and Egleston Hospital was the most expensive hospital construction project in Atlanta state history at the time. EDI provided space programming, schematic, design development, construction documents, procurement assistance, and contract administration services for:
- Structured cabling for data/voice, network, satellite, wireless, and TV
- Security systems, including infant abduction, access control, CCTV, and emergency call
- Nurse call/code blue
- Audio-visual systems
- Paging systems
