4. eBay Selects EDI as Winner of Modular Data Center

   eBay recently announced that EDI, Ltd., along with their partners AHA Consulting Engineers and Winterstreet Architects, were selected as the winner of the Modular Data Center RFP - now dubbed “Project Mercury”.

5. eBay Modular Data Center RFP Finalists – The Selection Process

   Out of 37 companies that were approved to participate in eBay’s Phoenix Modular Data Center RFP process, 17 official submissions were received, from which 6 finalists were selected. EDI, Ltd. was one of the 6 finalists selected.

6. 2010 Lessons Learned

   One significant change is that the “slow and persistent march” toward a full Electronic Health Record (EHR) has now become a mad dash toward “meaningful use” in order to avoid the significant penalties that begin in 2015 under the HITECH Act.

7. EDI Project Wins Healthcare Facilities Design-Build Merit Award

   

   EDI, Ltd. has the proud distinction of being a member of the award-winning project team on the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Women & Infants Center/Radiation Oncology/POB project.

8. EDI Project Wins Gold Medal Building of America Award

   

   All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL, won the prestigious Gold Medal Building Award for its replacement hospital project. EDI, Ltd. provided IT design and construction consulting services on this project.

9. EDI Named to 2010 Inc. 5000 List

   

   Inc. Magazine announced in August that EDI, Ltd. made their 2010 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
