Scientific Atlanta Corporate Campus

Scientific Atlanta has developed a 300-acre corporate campus to support their long-term growth strategies. EDI has been involved from the beginning of the process, which started in 1997. We provided valuable assistance and design services to support the IT and security portions of the project. Phase I consisted of three new buildings totaling over 250,000 sq. ft., and Phase II consisted of two new buildings totaling over 200,000 sq. ft. The facilities included offices, broadband and broadcast labs, circumstance labs, network operating center, testing and support equipment rooms. Our scope of work included:
- IT Campus Master Planning
- Telephone System Analysis of Centrex vs. PBX
- Cabling System Design
- Security System Design
- Extensive RF, CATV and Satellite Cabling and Signal Distributions Design
- A-V Design for Network Operating Center, Conference Facility, Training Room and Conference Rooms
