EDI served as lead technology consultant for the Library system’s $115 million dollar building campaign. Our services included telecommunications and network consulting, videoconferencing and audio-visual design, data/voice/video cabling design, and physical security system design. The new 288,000 sq. ft. downtown library in the Greek Revival style serves as the technology hub for the 14 existing and 5 newly constructed branch libraries. High-speed networking and public internet access, multipoint WAN and public-switched videoconferencing, and centrally-monitored CCTV and access control are some of the benefits the library now enjoys.
