Austin Peay State University
 Clarksville, Tennessee

As a small 7,500-student liberal arts university, APSU completed the largest single university building project to-date in mid 2001 - a 150,000 sq. ft., $43M dollar Science Center. This building houses 26 multimedia classrooms, lecture labs, conference rooms, and distance learning rooms. An additional 15 multimedia rooms are slated for Phase II in the next two years. EDI provided design, bid, and construction observation services for the audio-visual systems. The APSU staff and Tennessee Board of Regents valued the building technology, authorizing $1M dollars to meet the educational AV needs of the facility. Through a detailed bid package developed by EDI, the Owner was assured a fair bid and quality installation at the best price possible.
