Peter Babler, CTS, Senior Audio Visual Consultant
Peter has more than 15 years of experience in the design, installation and operation of audio visual systems. Prior to becoming a consultant, Peter worked in low-voltage systems contracting as an estimator, programmer, installation manager, and project manager. Additionally, Peter has worked as a systems design engineer for sound reinforcement, video presentation, control, and intercom systems. Peter’s project design experience includes distance learning environments, corporate training and boardroom facilities, city halls, video teleconferencing suites, auditoriums, museums, churches, and critical listening environments. Gary R. Cudmore, Principal for Data Center Services
Gary has over 25 years of international experience as an industry expert regarding all aspects of mission critical power and environmental systems, specializing in high reliability data centers.
Prior to joining EDI, Gary co-founded, successfully developed and sold a data center engineering, procurement, and construction company. Prior to starting his own firm, Gary was Vice-President of Data Center Services for a JT Packard where he provided consulting, engineering and construction for data centers nationwide. Gary has also served as a Regional Manager for a mechanical contracting firm specializing in engineering and design / build of data centers; Division Manager for a data center design-build firm in Denver, Colorado; and Vice-President for a Data Center company in Southern California.
Gary has been a consultant and subject matter expert to IBM, UNISYS, Dell and various organizations throughout the US. His international experience includes projects in Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom. Gary is often known for his public speaking engagements at Data Center Dynamics and his technical narratives and industry articles that have been published with trade publications including AFCOM. Rob Nash-Boulden, Vice President, Data Center Services
Most recently before joining EDI, Rob co-founded, developed and sold a successful data center engineering, procurement and construction company. Rob is also a former CEO and President of a technology service provider specializing in data center construction, communications cabling and IP telephony systems. Rob also led the finance and real estate development teams for a retail grocery chain based in Arizona for 18 years.
This wide range of experience gives Rob a keen understanding of the operation, the people, and the issues and challenges EDI and our clients face. He is unique in his understanding of the data center engineering and construction management aspects of EDI’s business, as well as his vision into areas in which we continue to expand and grow such as services, collocations, healthcare IT, and commissioning. Dan Fanning, LEED AP, Project Director, Data Center Services
Dan has spent over 15 years operating in critical environments incorporating the telecommunications, construction, and electrical industries. His work as a general contractor and project manager includes complete project lifecycle management, equipment installation, and resource administration. Prior to joining EDI, Dan was the Director of Engineering and Construction for a data center services firm and a Senior Project Manager for a data center engineering and construction firm in Wisconsin. Howard Wageman, Business Development and Sales Engineering, Data Center Services
Howard comes from an electrical construction background and brings 30 years of experience in the electrical industry to the sales team. Prior to joining EDI, Howard was in charge of Sales Engineering and Business Development for Aristos International and President of Advanced Power and Cooling Solutions, Inc.; a sales rep firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jason Coe, Business Development, Data Center Services
Jason has over 20 years of combined experience in sales and business development. Prior to joining EDI, Jason worked in business development for a Phoenix, Arizona based engineering, procurement and construction firm that specialized in data centers. Jason is known for the strength of his network. He is able to introduce people into advantageous situations, uncover opportunities and provides value to all that work closely with him. He is often referred to as the person to call, regardless of the need because of the synergistic business introductions he creates. Ed Bunker, Construction Manager and Facility Assessment Manager, Data Center Services
Ed has over 15 years experience working in facilities ranging from 1980’s IBM clean rooms and continuing into today’s energy efficient state of the art data center facilities. . In his Construction Manager role, Ed is in charge of executing the engineered solutions on customer sites across the United States. In his role in facility assessments and remediation solutions, he engineers and constructs solutions to help clients with power and cooling challenges within the data center environment.
