EDI
in the News
Judges and their clerks now serve as a central hub for
information in the courtrooms of Georgia's new $35 million
Coweta County Justice Center. The user-friendly AV system
allows attorneys to submit evidence to the judge through a push-botton
interface, while the judge or clerk maintains control of who
sees the information.

the nation's top-ranked nursing colleges, and graduate programs
in allied health, health systems management, and biomedical
research, RUMC encompasses a 613-bed hospital, the 61-bed
Johnston R. Bowman Health Center, and Rush University. Their
new facility will feature the latest technology, sophisticated
centers of specialty care, and one of the nation's most advanced
emergency rooms as well as a physical environment carefully

technology, security, and audio-visual systems and data center
design and functionality.
Specialty Teaching Hospital, Doha, Qatar
The Qatar Foundation is developing a new state-of-the-art
university in Doha, Qatar. As the Foundation's flagship
project, Education City is a 2,500-acre campus on the outskirts
of Doha that hosts branch campuses of some of the world's
leading universities, as well as numerous other educational and
research institutions. The Specialty Teaching Hospital will be
a freestanding acute care hospital associated with the Weill
Cornell Medical College (another EDI project), but independent
of it. The hospital will focus on women's and children's
health. Included as part of this project is, a 2000-car parking
garage and nurses' housing for 350 residents within apartment
style accommodations.
Newell Rubbermaid, Atlanta, GA
Newell Rubbermaid has chosen Atlanta as their new home and EDI
as their technology and security consultant for the new 350,000
sq. ft. headquarters. Employees from the three current Atlanta

audio-visual and security systems, and wireless access for
projects in process in Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi,
