eBay just announced that they have awarded the Modular Data Center Project in Phoenix – now dubbed “Project Mercury” – to EDI, along with our partners AHA Consulting Engineers and Winter Street Architects. Click here to watch eBay’s video selection process video.
EDI responded to eBay’s open RFP back in August of this year and was selected out of 37 firms that responded to the RFP, as well as 6 finalists, for our state-of-the art data center design that will scale with eBay’s business. Design elements for this project include:
- Modularity
- Extreme Density (40 kW plus per cabinet)
- Containerized Solutions
- Multi-Tier
- Mixture of Water & Air Cooled solutions
- Extreme PUE
EDI and our partners were selected for the thoroughness of our approach, the simplicity of our design, and our ability to provide FREE COOLING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR in PHOENIX, AZ!
Stay tuned - EDI, AHA, and Winter Street Architects will be sharing our designs with the industry via Data Center Pulse.
