EDI was hired to develop standards for the technology systems being implemented, as well as plan and design the new 15,000 sf data center that would be the brain of the technology systems being implemented. Additionally, EDI was tasked with assisting Sidra in selecting a clinical information system. Specifically, EDI was responsible for evaluating the impact of selected clinical information systems on the IT infrastructure, including the data center, network, and storage. Services provided by EDI included consulting and design oversight for the IT, medical communications, and security systems, as well as development of the overall space plan, requirements, and initial design for Sidra’s new data center.
