This facility is an historic building built in 1939 and later renovated in 2000, which required a complete overhaul to the live data center located on the 4th floor. The engineering and design process included architectural, structural, and full MEP. In keeping with the requirements that the customer be able to expand the data center in the future and install additional IT equipment, EDI designed a scalable system and included the infrastructure to support the City’s planned growth. EDI provided on-site construction observation and general contracting services.
