City of College Park
College Park, GA
The City of College Park built a new two-story, 60,000 sf public safety building to house the city’s Fire Department, Police Department, and Judicial Center, as well as a computerized indoor firing range, 911-call center, and a vehicle exhaust system. EDI designed, programmed, created construction documents, provided bid assistance, and observed construction for the building’s physical security; data, voice and video cabling; audio-visual, presentation, and paging systems; and provided acoustical modeling and consulting. EDI also provided the preliminary design, space planning, and layout for the data center housing the 911-call center and the 911 operators’ area.
