Athens Regional Medical Center recently finished construction on their new 4-story, 50,000 sf Pine Needle Administration Building. Additionally, a new data center was constructed on the ground level. EDI led the overall technology system planning, programming, and design processes for both construction of the new building and the new data center. The new 10,000 sf data center space utilizes hot air containment design to improve energy efficiencies and long-term server growth. The space was master planned for a 10-year growth capacity.
