Gwinnett Technical College – Scientific Atlanta Auditorium

The Busbee Center, a multi-million dollar complex at Gwinnett Technical College, features the Scientific Atlanta Auditorium and an Advanced Technology Center. Both are supported by state-of-the-art audio-visual and other leading edge equipment. EDI designed the audio-visual systems for the Scientific Atlanta Auditorium. This large, 350-seat conference center auditorium incorporates a front section of seats with tables and a rear section of lecture hall style seating. The room includes the following AV system features:
- 12’ x 16’ rear screen projection of super
high-resolution computer video and HDTV, incorporating Scientific Atlanta sources - Automated pan/tilt/zoom camera capture
and recording with network video streaming and RF system modulation. Room can send video and audio feeds all over campus (and Internet) for overflow
- Custom multimedia lectern matched to room millwork housing AV sources including motorized document camera lift
- Wireless electronic voting system – research and specification saved the owner $55,000
- Full 5.1 digital surround sound system
