Georgia Southwestern State University constructed a new Student Success Center and 3,000-seat gymnasium for basketball, convocations, and large meetings. EDI provided programming, design, bid, and construction observation services for audio-visual systems and room acoustics. This fitness facility includes multi-media classrooms and conference rooms with campus CATV broadcast capabilities. The Convocation Hall – capable of seating 3,000 - includes 18’ high image large format projection, speech and program sound reinforcement, and upgraded broadcast systems output to local television and radio. The facility also houses several smart classrooms, meeting rooms, and conference rooms requiring AV systems now and in the future. The cable TV systems designed by EDI allow the university to send and receive video and audio throughout the facility.
